Q: I would like to go blonde but I’m not sure which blonde shade will suit me best. Donna – Los Angeles, California
A: This decision very much depends on your skin tone. If you have a Soft skin tone (pale and fair) your choice would be pale to ash blonde. If you have a Medium skin tone (golden, like the woman in this photograph) your choice would be honey to golden blonde shades. If you have a Deep or Rich skin tone (dark brown to black) your choice would be darker blonde shades, but only as highlights, blonde as a base colour would be too light for your skin tone.
