Avoid wearing a long trench jacket with wide pants unless you are very tall. Opt for a knee length skirt, or dress, or slim fitting pants.

Avoid baggy jeans, irrelevant of your body shape – they create a sagging effect. Opt for tapered or shaped jeans instead.

A geography lesson :) West-East styles will make you look shorter and wider. North-South styles will make you look taller and slimmer.

Avoid tight-fitting clothes if you have a rounded tummy; a good fit is essential. Your clothes should not be too loose or too tight.

Avoid skin-tight styles if you want your legs to look slimmer – jeans with a slight flare will balance out your figure beautifully.

Avoid wide tops with wide bottoms; this will make you look wider. Wear wide tops with tapered bottoms, be it a skirt, pants or shorts.

Our model has a fabulous body, yet the dress on the left doesn’t look flattering because it is too tight. The correct fit is essential.
