WINTER TRENDS: OVER-THE-KNEE-BOOTS

We are loving the over-the-knee-boots trend this winter season! And the good news is that you don’t have to have endless supermodel legs to successfully wear this trend; if you choose the right outfit to co-ordinate with this sexy accessory you will also be runway ready.

Here are some practical style tips:

  • Make sure the length of your boot covers your knee (if you don’t have good knees this is an added bonus)
  • Choose a good fit i.e.: not too loose as the length of the boot will fall down and become bulky
  • Opt for a slimmer heel if you want to look taller and slimmer, avoid a chunky heel
  • Wear opaque tights, especially if your mid-thigh isn’t firm, or leggings in a matching colour for an elongated effect

Over-the-knee boots have become one of winters most elegant and versatile fashion must-haves. It will allow you to create so many style variations – from smart to casual – that it could easily become your shoe of choice this season. And the fact that it adds a layer of warmth is an added bonus.

Invest in a pair of over-the-knee boots this season and take your look to new heights.
