Styles hot off the press, and straight off the catwalks, are the new kids in town – the bucket bag and the saddle bag. Added to the mix are the more traditional silhouettes such as the shoulder bag (round or square) and the smaller, very ladylike bag.
A new on-trend handbags can instantly update your look. If you have already invested in basic colours then now is the time to invest in one of this season’s bright colours, like orange. Orange bags don’t, necessarily, have to be worn with orange outfits. Your outfit can be in a basic colour, from head to toe; then add your bag as an accessory for the element of interest.
Choose the size of your bag wisely i.e.: wear a smaller bag if you have a smaller body frame and a bigger bag if you have a fuller body frame. The general rule of thumb is that your bag should never be wider than the width of your body – this will create the best, overall proportion for your height and weight.
