1 SCARF, 4 WAYS!

Throwing on a scarf without even thinking about it is one of the reasons we love this basic accessory. From softening a neckline or adding colour to giving extra warmth as a snuggly snood or large wrap-around pashmina, here are our four favourite ways of creating the scarf’s easy elegance.

CHATA’S STYLE SOLUTION – 1

For a trendy snood start by twisting the length of the scarf to create a thinner rope effect. Your second step involves tying the opposite ends of the scarf together. Then you twist the looped scarf twice around the neck to create a cowl neck.

CHATA’S STYLE SOLUTION – 2

This chic look starts by draping the scarf around your neck from back to front after which you nonchalantly toss the one end over the opposite shoulder. If you have a short neck, create a longer loop in front – avoid draping too close to the neck.

CHATA’S STYLE SOLUTION – 3

This peek-a-boo scarf effect is created by wrapping the scarf around your neck from back to front so that the ends hang down either side. Next up you drape the sides to form a crossover over the bust area after which the ends of the scarf should be tucked in to create a blouse effect.

CHATA’S STYLE SOLUTION – 4

Create this elegant look by folding the length of your scarf in two at the midpoint so that the ends rest together. Then you fold it around your neck from back to front so you have a loop in your one hand and the ends of the scarf in your other hand. Next up, take the ends and pull it through the loop.
