PAM, 50: IT
Medium Skin TonePam was turning 50 and had opted for some me-time. We chose a dark toffee blonde, with caramel highlights, for Pam’s new hair colour. We then cut her hair adding lots of layers and texture – a side fringe created a younger, more modern look. Pam doesn’t use a lot of makeup so we showed her the essentials: a light layer of foundation, a touch of peach blusher and eye shadow, and a warm brown eyeliner. Clothing was a big concern; in Pam’s words she “wanted to hide my fat bits around my middle without seeming frumpy”. We chose tapered Capri pants (so much slimmer than wide pants!) and a stylish shaped T-shirt to combine casual-smart elegance.
