MARITA, 52: BUSINESS OWNER

Marita felt she’d lost all sense of style, she wanted to look like an elegant, intelligent, younger, happy woman instead of (in her own words) a ‘frumpy old hag’. She longed for a natural, modern, elegant and feminine hairstyle that would not require great effort. We maintained her length but softened her style with textured layers. We tinted her base colour a dark chocolate brown with soft caramel highlights for lift and some red lowlights for depth. Marita prefers a natural makeup look so we showed her how to use the absolute basics. Her new image shows off her slender frame without looking like ‘mutton dressed as lamb’. Stylish accessories completed the picture.
