MARGIE, 41: PILOT

Margie’s curls are her crowning glory, so we certainly didn’t want to cut her hair. It did, however, need a good trim. The layered style instantly softened her strong jaw line. We chose a burgundy shade of mahogany, a fantastic hair colour for Margie’s skin tone. We also loved her freckles so a minimum amount of foundation was applied. The faded green Margie is wearing in the before photograph made her look very tired; she looked radiant in the stronger, richer shades of gun-metal, grey and pink. Margie is tall and slim; the longer, fuller style made her look much shorter and curvaceous, much to her delight (an absolute no-no if you want to look taller and slimmer).
