MARGARET, 58: BUSINESS OWNER
Margaret runs her own business and looks after her grandchildren. Her family have been through a tough few years and she wanted to take some time off to feel rejuvenated. Margaret’s thick, coarse hair needed texture and softness so we introduced an edgy but soft fringe to soften her features. We gave her a richer, warmer hair colour with highlights in strawberry blonde and lowlights in a vibrant copper red. Margaret wears very little makeup so we showed her the essentials – a foundation in the right shade and the importance of a soft peach blusher to bring out the warmth in her Medium skin tone. Margaret felt ‘stuck in a rut’ with her colour choice in clothing, black and white seemed to be the safe choice. We introduced clear, vibrant colours to accentuate her features – what a difference the right colours make!
