Your hair colour should frame your face, just like a frame frames a painting – the picture being you and the frame being the hair colour. Light blondes, as a base colour, do not work for Deep skin tones – it is best to choose a darker colour then add dark blonde streaks or highlights. The lipstick colour in the before and after is similar, we just chose a slightly darker shade to suit Lydia’s Deep skin tone. We usually choose a different outfit for the after but we loved the direct comparison between the same top in the before photograph and the after photograph. We added the red jacket to show Lydia just how stunning she would look wearing brighter colours.
