CAROLINE, 21: SALES REP

Medium Skin Tone

Caroline was nervous about making radical changes, but she was excited about a new image. Layers can add more texture, volume and movement. A good idea is to try going a shade darker or a shade lighter than your natural hair colour for extra sheer and healthiness. The correct foundation was applied to even out her overall skin tone – if you have a red pigment to your skin, the next time you purchase foundation ask for a foundation with a blue pigment in it. The pigment conceals the rosiness of the skin and visually “cools” your skin down. Avoid blusher if you blush easily or get hot very quickly. A natural, red or brown lip shade works beautifully with brown eye shadow
