BETTIE, 62: RETIREE

Soft Skin Tone

Blonde at 62? Surely not Bettie asked! Light golden blondes lighten Bettie’s skin tone taking years off. When it comes to makeup the rule is very simple: Your makeup colours should tone and blend. A warm brown blush shade works best with a golden skin tone. Red lipstick works beautifully with brown eye shadow for that extra bit of dramatic glamour! If you have mature skin, be sure to choose eye shadow shades with a matte finish – a matte finish draws less attention to fine lines and looks the most natural. Avoid high round necklines if you’ve got a short neck, wear deep v-necklines to make your neck appear longer and slimmer.
