Update your smart, tailored suit with a stunning statement piece and take it to a whole new stylish level – you will still look ever-so-professional, yet on-trend at the same time. The same can be said for a casual outfit, like your trusted polo-neck and jeans – add a statement piece and add an element of interest. Here are some helpful tips for earrings to best suit your face shape: If you have an oval face shape you can wear any earring. If you have a sweetheart face shape your best choice is an oblong style, avoid anything that has sharp points. Round face shapes should opt for dropped, longer styles to elongate their face shape. And the best option for square face shapes is hooped styles, making the strong jawline softer. Enjoy these beautiful statement accessories this winter season!

WINTER CANVAS

Summer is well and truly over! The winter chill is in the air, and everywhere around us a beautiful winter canvas in shades of oranges, browns, burgundies and greens is evolving. Whatever skin tone you have (Soft, Medium, Deep or Rich) always always ALWAYS choose a crisp, clear shade, never a dull, murky shade. The coat and jacket fashion choices, this winter season, are stylishly fabulous – from smart buttoned-up coats to tailored and unconstructed jackets. And the complementing scarves, in checks and plaids, are reminiscent of aristocrats and the Royal family. Be bold and add new paintbrushes of colour to your winter canvas and stylish fashion choices to your wardrobe this winter season!

FAUX FUR (FAKE FUR!)

Look a million dollars by adding super stylish, silky-soft faux fur to your winter wardrobe in a variety of colours, patterns and styles. It’s smart and sophisticated, and fun and flirty making it the trend to wear this winter. Get the look by balancing your faux fur coat with simple wardrobe basics: Wear with a silky dress and over-the-knee boots for an elegant night out, high-waisted smart pants and heels for a sophisticated look, or simply wear with skinny jeans and ankle boots for an effortless day shopping, or meeting friends. Start with neutrals like browns, greys and blacks, but if you’re feeling fashion-forward, why not try a softer, brighter or richer colour? A statement faux fur cape, coat, gilet, collar or stole is the perfect way to add an element of luxurious texture to your winter look.

PERFECT POLO NECKS

We love a snuggly polo neck and this winter season there is an array of style options from which to choose. There is truly something for everyone – from close fitting to loose fitting, from a fine knit to a chunky knit and from small regular collars to big loose shawl collars. Close-fit styles are very flattering, but only if you have a petite body. If you have a fuller body opt for a gorgeous loose fitting, slightly over-sized style, and wear it with a slim fit, or tapered, bottom. If you have a short neck, or a double chin, opt for a longer, softer, shawl collar neckline, not a high neckline. Reinvent your classics or invest in new items; a polo neck is a must-have for winter – it is so easy to dress up or dress down. If you are a working professional a polo neck will look super stylish with a tailored suit. Simply swop your suit for skinny jeans and statement accessories when you get home.
